  Newly constructed Buddhist shrine room over the historic Dagonna wewa. Villagers gather to worship on poya days. Rituals are held daily. In all evenings pre recorded 1 hr pirith is chanted. Drinking liquor, disrespectful gathering/activities in and around the area, fishing in the tank etc. to be avoided. On 5 Aug 2017 first anniversary was held with an all night colourful pirith chanting ceremony followed by 'heel dhana' with the participation of many number of villagers.
