  Dear Mr.Peiris, I am a long-standing customer of CC-Thimbirigasyaya, and today opted to try your new outlet at Ward Place, having nurtured a craving for the CC turkey avocado sandwich. To that end, I tried repeatedly to place a take-away order over the phone, but none of my 4 calls were answered by that branch. I then contacted your delivery service, who promised to convey the message to the WP branch, and I advised them that I would collect my order in 20mins - at half past noon. On arrival at WP by 12:40pm, not only was the cashier (Thilina, I believe) wholly ignorant of my order, he made no effort to expedite the process. I had to wait over 25minutes for a sandwich order, which is highly unreasonable, given that there was a total of 3 people in the restaurant. Further, he had the audacity, whilst the lady staffer was preparing my meal, to stick his UNWASHED, UNGLOVED hands near her meal prep and pick up a sandwich which he then proceeded to wolf down directly ABOVE the Turkey filling SHE WAS PREPARING FOR ME, spilling his sandwich filling and crumbs over the food prep counter. On being admonished by her, he then leaned his BOTTOM against the sandwich prep counter and continued to munch away until reprimanded by another colleague. I'm thoroughly disgusted at the level of hygiene and professionalism displayed at the WP branch; I do hope, Mr. Peiris, you will take measures to correct this. Meanwhile, kudos! to the team at Thimbirigasyaya for yummy food prepared fast, and for always being engaging and polite - truly a pleasure to visit!
