  This must be Kandys best kept secret. The location on a hilltop is easily accessed from Kandy or Peradeniya . The bungalow which is built into a hill immediately gives one the feeling of being on top of a mountain. With the tree clad hills to the east and the view down the valley to the west, Casa Blanco is a great location to just unwind. I reached in the afternoon and found myself clicking away at the birds on the veranda immediately. Amasing selection of birds visible from the verandah. The garden is beautiful. The rooms are almost the best feature, each room uniquely and comfortably furnished. With 3 carpeted rooms, the room I had even had a jacuzzi in the bath. I ordered simple meals for dinner and breakfast, yet tej caretake cooked up some good stuff. Stayed 2 says, clicked hundreds of amazing bird and flower pictures and wish I could have stayed longer. Very comfortable and restful.
