  My school Central college Kuliyapitiya , is a national school for boys and girls, in the suburb of Kuliyapitiya. Central college, Kuliyapitiya was commenced as a result of the Central School concept of the Honorable Minister of Education C.W.W.Kannangara in 19th century stands still as the “Sath Korala Pahan Tharuwa” to the nation nurturing countless erudite Scholars professionals, patriotic heroes, politicians and well-disciplined citizens who serve for the name of the motherland Sri Lanka. It was established on 3 February 1947 by the government and became a national school. As of 2016 an academic staff of more than 170is led by Mr. H.M.N.Herath.Central College, Kuliyapitiya is often cited as the lighting glory of Sri Lankan education.
