  One of those places I love to shop. There is a raw of boutiques built over the railway tunnel. You'll find many things for over cheap prices from electronics to bags, toys to secondhand clothes. I found sellers to be helpful and courteous compared to similar boutiques in Pettah or Kandy. Of course this is not the place if you're looking for a posh shopping mall. You can bargain for everything sold.

  It was litle far away from Bus stand but can walk.. Fresh Meat shops and fish market fresh vegetables available on market

  Worst place in gampola town. very smelly & dirty. Poor maintenance by urban council.
