  We did the 12km lagoon bike ride which I highly recommend. Chameera is a great guy, very knowledgable and generous with his time. The whole thing took 4 hours in all, a very leisurely pace, plenty of very interesting stops and refreshments (all included in the price). You don't need to be ridiculously fit as it's all pretty flat and despite 30+ degrees it's not stupidly hot although maybe don't do this on your first day in Sri Lanka. It's easy to get to on the 350 bus from Galle and he'll drop you back in town or at the beach of your choice 10/10
