  this place was just horrible. my girlfriend and i came here our last night in sri lanka and had a terrible experience. our food took over an hour, with he waiters coming twice to ask us what we had ordered. her banana leaf fish and my stuffed calamari were completely inedible and over cooked. the manager offered us some spring rolls, which we declined, and charged us for both our uneaten plates. we paid and we’re happy to leave. just awful. go to king crab down the street.

  My wife and I are visiting Negombo after 3 weeks traveling through Sri Lanka. The restaurant had the best deviled chicken I have eaten, and I have ordered it 6+ more times while traveling in Sri Lanka. My wife had the green Thai curried chicken, which she too thought was the best she eaten. Thoughtful preparation is the key. The chef came out to make sure he understood our requests, and he followed them perfectly. All in all, a wonderful experience. Great food prepared well. Great service too. No alcohol is served at Cilantro. Enjoy!

  The food is quite good. I was a bit disappointed with the Thai Green Curry and the spaghetti bolognaise was awful. But other things we've had were pretty decent. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food is well presented.
