We had a great time there, it was nice to see how all the food made and the final result was very delicious. We did like it there, they were very friendly and kind, it is worth giving it a try.

Wonderful food. Excellent hospitality... A home away from home... with freshly prepared home cooked food... finger licking... The best part is they adjust the spice according to ur request 😊... BTW, I intend to carry their special brinjal recipe to Malaysia...

The best and most authentic food we've had in Sri Lanka. Samuel and his wonderful wife and family produced a sumptuous evening meal. Perfectly cooked, freshest ever tuna in a tantalising curry sauce that buzzed with flavour, together with a medley of exquisite vegetables, including lotus roots, which we hadn't eaten before and eggplant, which I've never liked before but now I adore! In a perfect garden veranda, we are replete and will always remember the experience (and the labradors). Thank you, Sam, Wasanthe and family.

I found this place when me and my family was walking to the jungle beach, it's a small restaurant run by a friendly family, this is the best Sri Lankan food that I have had, and their fresh juice are amazing with the real natural taste of the fruits, this is located on the right side when you walk from the village, and if you ever visit Unawatuna you must not miss this place, definitely would come back,

I was lucky enough to stay with this lovely family and therefore also had the pleasure to enjoy this delicious food every day. Before I tasted Wasanthis meals I didn’t even like fish but then she cooked for me and suddenly I loved even fish! They also taught me how to eat rice the Sinhalese way - with your fingers! Seemed impossible at first but they didn’t give up on me and in the end I nailed it haha. Amazing food, wonderful family, beautiful place - I will definitely recommend this to everybody visiting and I will definitely come back
