  This is an ancient Dalada maligawa and ruins of king's palace of kurunegala kingdom. It is still a doomed place. No attention from archaeological department. Even there is no board indicating that this is a conservative area of ancient kingdom . Most ground ruins are covered with bushes. A Book published by Archaeological department for ruins of kurunegala kingdom also doesnt have any description of this place . You must see this place . Only accessible way is through the chief secretary office entrance.
