::We were offered a Sri lankan buffet for 400 rs when we arrived, the same price as the kotu. There were a couple of veg. curries, rice, papadams, which all looked good and tasted alright. When wanting to pay the price had changed to 500 rs. We asked the same person that offered us the buffet for 400 rs why and we were told because of the high price of vegetables at the moment. Can't imagine the vegetable prices went up in the last half hour, seems more like foul practice.

::By far the best food I had in Sri Lanka so far. The all you can eat vegetarian buffet costs 400. (Meat upgrade +200) Everything is super fresh and tasty. If you visit mirissa this eatery is an absolut must!

::Honestly, the curry buffet is a great value for money. We had some delicious curry tonight! The mango curry, spicy and sweet, full of flavour. Peas curry, totally different to what we've tasted in SL so far. I also really liked the banana flower curry which I'd never even heard about before. Definitely deserves 5 star.

::Great food! Curries and rice on the buffet, 400 for as much as you want. Separate menu for rotis, fried rice and other things. Lovely family running it. All the curries were vegetarian and dhal was nice and spicy. Different curries every day and often fresh salad included in the buffet. Incredible jackfruit curry one evening, the most delicious thing ever!
