  Family Biking Fun - Sri Lanka We; a big family from Newton, Massachusetts did a family biking holiday tour with different discovery; winter 16/17. We came through a recommendation; Michael Konefal from Washington D.C. Nilanka; the tour & booking buddy was excellent in quick and informative communication from the beginning. We met the younger brother; Rasith, one of the owners of this family-run business and had a very warm-welcome! Bikes were really high-tech and well maintained; TREK, GIANT & SCOTT bikes we tried on beautiful back-roads of remote Sri Lanka. The accommodation was suggested by Dinesh; the elder brother and we enjoyed the stay at most of the unique hotels in Sri Lanka. Heritance Kandalama, Sir Johne's Bungalow, Kandy Housse, Kirchhayn Bungalow, 98 Acres Resort, Last House, Club Villa, Galle Face Hotel were hour hotels. We had a very young and energetic cycling guide; Chan. He is full of knowledge in his country's nature, culture and heritage. We tried different Sri Lankan cuisine but the best was "RITHU" restaurant in Sigiriya. A big thank to Different Discovery; thank you Chan and the best driver ever had - Justine. Cheers! Leslie (USA)

  Me and my husband did a cycling tour with DD in November, 2016. It was a group arrangement but the service kept to each one's personal taste. Clean, comfy and cozy hotels with smiley people. Upbeat attitude for hospitality. DD has a good fleet of modern MTB bikes and we enjoyed a lot on back-roads cycling. Prices vise it was a better value for money trip. DD is a family own small business running by two brothers but, we were treated like relatives or friends than travelers. Small things work better; sometimes. Good luck DD!

  We contacted Different Discovery only 2 days prior our arrival to Colombo, but still the company managed to arrange for our pick up at the airport, and had everything planned for amazing experiences over three fantastic weeks. The drivers are excellent communicators, well experienced, humorous and always keeping our needs as a first priority. The tour was a very nice mix of visits to historical places, safaris, beautiful hiking, to-die-for beaches and great places for food, and all was planned in accordance with the beauty of traveling as a family with a small child. We are very happy to recommend Different Discovery to anyone looking for a well-organized, flexible and reliable travel-partner in Sri Lanka. All the best, and we will definitely be back!
