  It was hosted by Navy and the boat service was satisfactory. There were lots of crocodiles and birds in the lake area. And were able to see the half submerged and destroyed old access road to the parliament, now in the middle of the lake. If not for the bad smell and the floating garbage here and there, it would be next to ideal place to watch and feel the beauty and the majestic of parliament and the diyawanna oya. I recommend to arrange the service around sun down time in the evening.

  Very good nature oriented learning and fun entertainment for all, good for the price LKR 2,500 for 16 people (of you pay 2500 then you can hire a boat ride yourself alone with your family). The Navy personals are very friendly. Had a boat side around the parliament and the birds' sanctity trees for nearly half an hour. Saw few foreing birds too. It was totally a very good experience.

  At the very beginning this was ok. But now less attention is given to the customers.

  A fun place to visit but the dock needs better upkeep. I crashed through the deck stepping on rotten wood. Could have been seriously hurt!
