::During our short stay in Sri Lanka, this peaceful, hilltop home was perfect for a weekend getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of the smoggy city. It was charming, relaxing and very spacious. The privacy of the venue, along with the amenities and the beauty in the antique details throughout the home made it an experience that we will never forget. The best part of the Dutch House was the breathtaking views of the misty mountains, surrounding hilltops and amazing greenery. We enjoyed spending time strolling around the sprawling gardens that were extremely beautiful and serene. Also, the chef prepared for us delicious and authentic Sri Lankan meals which added to our amazing experience here. We enjoyed eating on the veranda every day with the sound of the chirping birds and the gorgeous views. Kannan and his staff were extremely pleasant, attentive and provided us with remarkable service. The house is impressively spotless and we were extremely impressed again with Kannan’s staff and his management of the home. I especially enjoyed taking advantage of the indoor pool, great for use at any time of the day! We cherished our time here and will definitely be coming back soon!
