  This is situated inside the Rajarata University premises. This is funded by foreign country as a charity. Originally built for the purpose of using it as Elephant Conversation Unit so the researchers working on Elephant conservation have a place to stay around Mihinthale and do their work but this is not used extensively. There’s 2 perfectly good air conditioned rooms and 4 people can stay there with much comfort. Have good attached bathrooms as well. Good place but it would be best if this is used more frequently than this.
