  Not the most cleanest and best but if you're ready to get a bit dirty of course you can get good stuff and if you bargain properly good price too...

  Go around 5:90 am or 2:30 in the evening to get fresh fish straight from the boat . This has been a tourist attraction . But the hygiene level is at very low.

  A great insight into Sri Lankan culture and local business. Freshly caught fish are haggled for by individuals and restaurants alike. It's busy, smelly, frantic and a whole lot of fun. Make sure to speak to the locals, they love to chat and share!

  This place is usually crowded and noisy. You can get fresh seafood. Bulk purchase are entertained. Ideal time Morning- 4 am -10 am Evening - 3.30pm- 7.30pm Suggestions. If wish visit this place. Take you own shopping bag or regiform box and raggy clothes to avoid blood stain and stuff.
