::Completely the biggest scam out there. Went on November 15th with my family to sight see in Kandy. My mother wanted to buy me a gem ring as a gift and found one she liked. While my mom was purchasing the ring I, myself noticed all 8 employees speaking quietly and under their breathes . She baught a garnet ring for a well good price. It looked absolutely beautiful and I was flattered by the beauty. Unbeknownst to me just a week after and still visiting Sri Lanka, the ring became immediately dark and had a black exterior. Realizing that the ring wasn’t even silver in the first place! Also doubting the gem all together. Now leaving Sri Lanka I’m leaving my mother with a burdon to fix this issue and get a refund or get compensated. Absolutely stupid.
