  This the general cemetery with a crematorium which comes under Gampaha Mudungoda Pradeshiya Sabha at Miriswatta. This is the place where Former Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle was assassinated on 5 April 2008 by a bomb blast. A memento was erected here to commemorate him.
