  Horrible horrible opticians. Avoid at all cost! Got a pair of prescription sunglass lenses made at their Maradana branch (opposite the eye hospital). The frame was a branded imported good quality frame that I had got. I went with the frame and showed it to them specifically before asking to get the lenses made. They asked for Rs. 7500 for a pair of polarized lenses, which i thought was reasonable. However my troubles were as follows. 1. They told me they'd get the lenses prepared and fitted in two days. It was Wednesday. I was not in a hurry and never expected it in 2 days, but nevertheless because they promised I went on Friday at about 11am. The first hiccup was they told me their delivery is late and come back after 1 pm. I however went back the next day. As soon as I came in they told me the lenses are ready and just the fitting is to be done. They kept me waiting for more than an hour and finally gave me the glasses. 2. As soon as I got hold of the glasses I noticed the poor workmanship. I was appalled, but since I had already paid for them, I took them anyway. I asked them jokingly wether any of the lenses would fall out, to which they gave me a firm assurance. 3. As expected one of the lenses did fall out while I was driving wearing them. Had it fallen anywhere else, all my money would have been in vain. 4. I went back to them to get the fallen lens fixed properly. Judging by their poor professionalism, I specifically told them not to glue or do a cheap repair. I sincerely hoped, though lack of any indicators to trust them otherwise, that they'd cut out a new lens and fit it. Alas, today I noticed the glue jutting out through the creaks. At least if you glued it, do it in a way it doesn't show! Now I'm left with an expensive but ruined frame, thanks to these rogues. Don't ever go to them! There are much better opticians at reasonable prices all over Colombo. Even the small boutique shop infront of the eye hospital did a better job for me once.

  Bad service from george gunarathna opticians.the show room guy was not help us to buy spectacle.so we not decide to buy from them.not recommended.

  I got a spectacle from Kiribathgoda Branch, It was very bad, image seems bended or warp. When I asked to rectify the spectacle the sales girls act very rudely and insist on additional charge. As such I do not recommend this place for any one

  Eye checkup is completely wrong. Not recommending anyone
