  Currently, this is the end of the Southern highway (E01). However, very soon the highway will be extended further south making this just another exit. During school vacation times, especially close to April new year and Christmas the toll booth can get extremely congested taking about an hour to come out of the exit. Use of exits before Godagama is recommended during such times though one has to take local roads after exiting. Also, during heavy rains exit can be flooded making it impossible to use it. However, this is a very rare occurrence.

  End point of Southern Expressway. After 2020, you can travel to Hambantota and Mattala.
