  Artistic historical valued temple in Sri lanka. Artist is Famous George Keyt.The paintings are very different than othe sri lankan Temple wall arts.This Temple is very famous place among tourists.Very close to colombo city-Rajagiriya.

  Beautiful temple. Not only for Buddhist pilgrims, also for tourists. Paintings were done by legendary artist George Keyt. Historically one of the most important places in Sri Lanka. A lot to learn, and a peaceful place to experience calmness. If you are a tourist, just avoid poya days since place is crowded with Buddhist pilgrims. Poya is for religious visits.
