::Be careful not you are not ripped off with the prices are asking. It is better to by your veggies from one of the large supermarkets in Galle. But it's always an experience visiting a market. We are lucky in Galle to have separate markets for fruit, fish and veggies. Again be careful about the prices charged in all the markets.

::Mostly oke market with some strange vegetables on offer. Hygiene on some stalls is severely lacking though so be picky which vendor you buy from. Also as with almost all other markets this one is pretty deserted by the afternoon. For the good stuff and plenty of choice be here at 9am.
