  Earlier was good and its historic place Very old hotel, now it's not recommend. Better to check reviews on internet before going You can easily find more facilities serviced hotel near by easily

  Worst place ever. Doesn't even worth the price. Rs 550 for a chicken rice that wasn't even near edible. Not tasty at all.

  My family and I stopped in for a quick lunch because we saw a sign advertising a fast LKR 200 buffet. Had an ok lunch (for the advertised price) and the owner even exchanged some money for us when we asked. Bill came around and instead of the LKR 800 we were over estimating for, we saw a bill that was over LKR 2200! We weren't thrilled and were resigned to pay the full amount and casually mentioned to the owner he should work on his sign. He insisted the sign was just for breakfast and not lunch. One of the staff went and turned the sign around when we showed him what we saw and just ignored us. The owner argued a bit and tried to make us feel bad because he had exchanged some money for us. Said that while the sign was wrong we wouldn't get any money back and that they wouldn't be nice to any people of Indian descent in the future. Not sure why he felt that he needed to take his mistake out on an entire ethic group..bottom line: Don't bother going - bad food, bad service, bad morals. Plenty of other places nearby with nicer, more honest folk.

  Chicken is not part of the buffet and they will only give you verry little gravy. False advertaisment at its best. When asked about it owner said its the company policy and eating is up to us, which if we were told in the first place we would of not ate here.
