  I studied at this school for 10 long years before entering Peradeniya Engineering faculty only one at that time on October 1969 with 18 of my classmates, we making up 12% of the 150 admitted from whole of Sri Lanka based on the pure merit of results of competitive exam to the Engineering faculty that year
