  It amazed me to see a Touch of nature within the capital city. Should consider the security personal to be more gentle for the local gusts as in not every one who visits here to loaf around.

  Lovely place for a few hours, lots to see, unusual trees, bats, flowers. Well laid out, easy to walk around and nice restaurant for coffee and lunch. Beautiful botanical garden which are well maintained. Felt very peaceful whilst walking around, certainly different from the busy streets of Gampaha.

  Henarathgoda botanical garden was initiated during colonial period and it exhibit diverse plant population within its premises. some of the plants grow indoor protective houses and rest of the plants grow freely in the garden. world largest orchid and twin palm trees are some of the impotent exhibits in the garden. if you are going via Gampaha it is nice place to visit.

  Even though it is a botanical garden you wont find lot of flowers there.just a bunch of trees and some grounds.. Ideal place to play a cricket match. It do have two grounds for sort of things.. If you are a lover this could be a place to spend time with your loved one..
