  Beautiful space and lush greenery. I enjoyed the well thought out decor and interior design. However, professionalism and hospitality was lacking as well as some luxury accents. For instance a water kettle and sugar was made available but no tea bags. In addition, the shampoo and soap were cheap and old looking and looked to be of the lowest quality available in the country. There was no bottled water in our room and when I asked for water was charged for it although I noticed two guests check in and be handed water bottles on arrival. To sum it up, it’s a beautiful facility but I wouldn’t stay there again unless the hosts improved and were more hospitable as well as improved the in room amenities.

  We loved everything about this place, as a matter of fact we are going back at the end of the trip. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, the premises are beautiful, breakfast was delicious and most of all it’s so calm and relaxing from the moment you cross the gate. It’s not in the center but it’s a short and cheap tuk tuk ride away.

  Beautiful Guest house and wonderful room. very friendly and lovely host and we enjoyed the stay at this place, it was the best start of our trip to Sri Lanka we could imagine. place where you can harmony and birds singing. out of all reviews I noticed that Benoit Raimond & Melissa R. have put a bad review for this beautiful place. when I inquired I found out that those two are supposed to be two violent guests who have come together and who attacked another guest who was staying in this hotel. Shame on those two....

  Do not book this hotel!!! Big scam and big lies with their pictures... We booked for 3 nights, as soon as we enter to this "guesthouse", the owner was arrogant and disrespectful with us, she decided to give a single room, instead of the double room that we paid for it. She was only caring about our payment...As soon as we saw the single room, we asked for a change; as this room was smelling bad, dirty walls, humid, full of mosquitoes, etc.... The owner refused to give the money back, refused to change us... (She claimed that she send me the payment back but is a total lie!!! I did not receive anything from her) Do not believe the reviews in agoda,booking, or tripadvisor as the owner always deny that the people stayed at her place and the review get remove...leaving only the good ones...

  Horrible experience - avoid absolutely. The rooms are so humid. The walls were black of humidity. It is impossible to sleep. Full of mosquitoes. The owner is so incredibly arrogant and cheater. We paid for a superior room but she gave us a standard room. Her tone of voice is simply insulting. Please do not go there if you do not want to waste your holiday in Colombo. Find a hotel near the fort instead. Much better area over there. Good luck in Colombo.
