::Built by the British Planters in the Colonial Period on top of a hill facing the Pussellawa Town for the use and worship of them as well as later on for the use of Plantation Workers in the area. Today this Church's Congregation consits mainly from tamil speaking people and the sunday services are also held in Tamil. The Church is surrounded by the graves of British Planting community as well as the locals. A visit to this historic church on your way to Nuwara Eliya will take you a back to the Colonial era.
