  We were told on Expedia and Google that this place was on Nilaveli Beach, after a search of hotels on Google Maps, but fact, it is just outside of Trincomalee City on some dusty highway. The music was booming very loudly when we arrived. We told the front desk receptionist that this was most definitely not near Nilaveli Beach, so I asked him if we could cancel the booking and he agreed. I contacted Expedia to ask how we could get a refund, so they contacted Sakura and Sakura denied saying that they agreed to the cancellation of the booking. Expedia would do nothing to assist further, because of their cancellation policies and the fact that even though I searched for places at Nilaveli Beach, for which Sakura Hotel came up, they stated on their site that Nilaveli Beach was 15KM from Sakura. Basically, Sakura Hotel and Expedia lie to their customer's face and provides shoddy details as to their location. THIS IS MY 100% CERTIFIED IMPRESSION OF EXPEDIA, SAKURA HOTEL & TRINCOMALEE, A PLACE THAT DOES THEIR ABSOLUTE BEST TO CHEAT AND SWINDLE TOURISTS.
