  both Huluganga and nearby Dalu oya are scenic waterflows in the foothills of the Knuckles region .Huluganga waterfall is a sight to behold at any time of the year with its wide arc of cascade . But it is highly advisable to not to use either Huluganga or nearby Dalu oya for bathing purposes at any point ,due to the extreme unpredictability of the water flow . The gradient or the slope of these two rivers are extremely dangerous ,creating a very limited line of sight .As a result the bather will have near zero time in terms reaction when the water level rises suddenly . There are few hotels in the vicinity which may use the pictures of these rivers for promotion purposes but to use EITHER Huluganga or Dalu oya for bathing is bordering on the suicidal. These two rivers originate from the upper reaches of Knuckles region which is known for highly unpredictable weather patterns . As such the water level of both these rivers are not suitable for fun and frolic which a careless and irresponsible set of pictures online might depict.Refuse to be deceived by careless advertising. Behold their beauty .But stay away from bathing.

  The waterfall can be seen during every season. To the right hand side of the waterfall, a staircase has been built to climbdown to view the waterfall, unfortunately the staircase has blocked the entrance to the waterfall from other directions. So it offers only few camera angles, however it restricts people from bathing and washing clothes near the waterfall 😁

  Good place for nature lovers. Rural area away from town. More of a village

  Beautiful waterfall..to see the waterfall properly you have to climb down few steps..there's a way to get to the bottom of waterfall but be careful the way is slippery.
