  Memorial for the 1200 brave Indian soldiers of the IPKF. The names of the soldiers are organized as per regiment.

  Between 1987-1990 Indian military came to Sri Lanka to perform a peace keeping operation. Their aim was to disarm different militant groups including LTTE. However 1155 of them were killed in here. Our Country constructed this memorial in 2008 for those who gave life in that mission. Anyways there are so many incidents happen those dark days.
