  Ramakrishna mission consists of an event hall and a lodge. The hall has a good looking stage and it could accommodate fairly a large number of audience. The 'Thamizhlaruvi' event which annually organized by the Tamil Literary Association of University of Moratuwa is held here. There is a fine lighting system for the stage. The lodge offers affordable rooms in Wellewatte area.
