::I visited this place when I was a student in early 90s, nothing has changed. Despite the civil war and systematic rewriting of Jaffna history, Tamil officials have managed to still keep this place intact. Kudos to them. Considering Jaffna's rich ancient history, Portuguese, Dutch and British rule this place should be filled with so much artifacts, that is missing. Maybe due to lack of effort from the local authorities.
