  Weekend and the holidays there will be lots of people and also did little bit dirty around.. see getting very deep from short distance but there are not rough waves.. you can drink and have fun but don't left anything behind..

  Nice beach for photo shoot. No need approval. It's really busy place with local and well as foreign tourists. You have to park your vehicle in private vehicle parkings and have to walk nearly 1.5km. It's really safe beach. Children also can enjoy very well. Boad ride is available but I'm do not have an idea of boat ride.

  This was waste of time. Only good part was reaching to this beach needed a down climb of a small mountain with flora. The beach is rocky. Little snorkeling can be done as stated by other reviews. It has one shop which sells basic cocktails and some snacks. There is another connected beach, again the path to that was amazing rocky. But the next beach was super small with locals picnic'ing. No snorkeling there also. Can skip while in Unawatuna.

  Really picturesque beach, and wasn't too busy. There is a bar serving food and drinks but very basic. You can get a beer or a cocktail at least. There are wooden sun loungers that you didn't get charged for. It's a little bit of a walk down the beach, very rocky and then turns into steps. The sand is beautiful and the water is OK. There is quite a bit of pollution and the sea and coral has suffered sadly. Worth a visit as not too crowded during the week.

  Lots of tourists. The beach, however, is not that impressive. Some insects on the shore due to the vegetation. There is a bar where you can order drinks like cocktails, coffee. Water and ice cubes are also available. Note that you can also buy drinks from upstairs a little cheaper. From the closest parking lot until the beach there is a 5 minutes road which is nice to take. The water is calm but there are some rocks so be careful when entering.
