  If use public transport arrive to Gampola or Nawalapitiya and take the Dolosbage bus. Get down from Maryville infront of a small kovil. The road moves along a tea cultivation (Craighead estate) and then to the mountain face. Upto a view point at a lower elevation in rhe mountain there isn't any illuk trees and its easy to hike along the rock face. Then it reaches an area covered by illuk that goes along the top of the mountain to reach the highest peak. The illuk is even taller than normal height but there is a trodden path which can be seen within it.

  Nice mountain situated in nawalapitiya gives a good hike to reach the top. Visit here without destroying the beauty of nature

  Highest peak of dolosbage mountain range.At the end of the peak u can see 360 view. And near by peak kinihiragala as well.Beautiful scenery & peak can be used for camping as well.Another important thing is climate changes throught the day
