  1. This place is belongs to Ravana era. Still you can see large caves, ruined water pond, large rock pallets etc... there are some unbelievable things are available here. 2. There are some ruins can see belongs to early Anurdhapura era. Similar time period of King Dewanampiyatissa era. There are Letters carved on rock stating "Village head has given some rooms built in Rock to Rahatanwahansela". 3.King Nissanka malla has visited this place and established a Pillar Inscription here. 4. King Walagamba has used this place for hide from Indians. 5. There are another Letters carved on rock belongs to Polonnaruwa era, it saying order to give gingerly oil to temple of tooth of relic annually. 6. There is a large Buddha statue belongs to Kandy era. 7. There are some drawings belongs to Kandy and Anuradhapura era.
