  Typical police station where they only do things to save their skin. My wallet was stolen and my credit cards were used before i could cancel them. the first thing the police said to me was, "we can't find your wallet or money , only place an entry for further protection". what's the point of a police station that says that kind of a thing? I lost altogether Rs. 15,000 which doesnt sound like much but it was some money I had just earned with hard work. They didn't do anything about the cctv footage from supermarkets where the thief used my card. That's what this place is. If you need help, don't go here.

  If you are accused for violation of traffic law that you never commited go and talk to Traffic OIC at Kirobathgoda police. He is a real genuine case. Just know it by experience.
