  Very sacred place.Now called the place "Kithsirimewan vihara" or "Egoda kalani" temple.Most of people belive this place is a gate to "Naaga loka"... and always naaga came here and have some connection with this place.The untold historical running to King Rawana era... The buddhist value is this place is Load buddha came here and get bath from river and he placed his sacred foot print on rock under the water.still "The naaga" are worship and protect the foot print.Their is a sthupa and belive is Load buddha's wet robe is enshrine in it.There is a young bhodhi tree and other elements of temple.other sacred place is here the "vibheeshana devala".Very small and very impotant place.Most of people easyly pass this place and they don't know the value or story of this place.
