  A wonderful reservoir. It's quite unique in a way due to the built of the place. The entire barricade is made out of stones placed in a systematic way. Entrance tickets has to be purchased from the view point area. Vehicles are not allowed to enter the reservoir area. Please don't litter. Keep honking and loud noises to the minimum.

  Established in Kotmale,Gampola. In the road to Mawela.One of main water supplying reservoirs in Srilanka. It built by filling up a whole village. Ruins of the village temple still can see when the water goes down in dry season.

  Beautiful Scenery. You have to buy tickets from Observation center to enter the dam.
