  This is a coir manufacturong mill which was started more than thirty years ago. This was owned by a family and now also it runs like that. The coir manufactuing is done by spersting the fibers from.the coconut husks. The working people are provided with housing and a salary. And they have been living at the mill premises for several years now. Other than the coir mill there are pineapple farms too in the estate.
