  Clean Hospitable Great food Authentic spicy Clean washroom plus hot water Beautiful property They give you bottles of water for free And house cleaning Internet probably works less than 50% of the time. No good signal.

  This is a terrific little place off the beaten track. It is located along Trincomalee Road and is a very handy base for visiting Dambulla, Polonnaruwa and Kaudulla National Park. The very gracious host offered expert advice and helped us avoid long queues at Kaudulla where we saw over 70 elephants. His English and French are very good too. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are clean and spacious with good air-conditioning. The food is plentiful and tasty, which is good considering the dearth of restaurants in Habarana itself. I enjoyed our 4 night stay here and look back on it fondly.
