::Really as close to perfect as you could ask for. Dominique and Manjula have to be the perfect hosts, there when you need them, as helpful as you could possibly ask for and the best cooks in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was absolutely amazing with fabulous fresh fruit and amazing cooked food. Only the best and freshest ingredients - Bloody Fantastic!!!! I had been having a real coffee drought so it was a great delight to also have the best coffee in Sri Lanka with breakfast. We persuaded our hosts to cook us dinner one night and it was by far the best single meal we had in our time in Sri Lanka. The beach, about 150 metres down a flat street, was breathtaking. We had it to ourselves and it was perfect. The cleanest water and sand we have experienced outside Australia. Lilly House is set in a beautiful tropical garden with abundant wild life; an incredible variety of beautiful birds, squirrels, monkeys - who just came to visit the once and were very polite, quiet and stayed in the trees, a fine looking Lace Monitor and Dominique and Manjula's very well trained dog and cats. The accommodation is perfect with a large, really comfortable bed in a large bedroom. A huge bathroom with a fabulous shower. The sitting area/kitchen was ideal with plenty of room if you wanted to stay inside (although a fan or air con would have taken this area from a 9 to a 10 out of 10). The outside porch come living room, where we spent virtually all our time, is just perfect - a great dining table for leisurely breakfasts and that amazing dinner, two brilliant lounging chairs and a huge day bed for reading/relaxing and a fabulous spot to watch the incredible varied visiting wildlife. Manjula also has a tuk-tuk so it was really simple to get a ride into Galle which is a fabulous city just 10 Kms from Lilly house with lots of history and beautiful buildings, some fascinating museums, restaurants and great shopping. Thank you so much Dominique and Manjula for making our time in Galle just perfect.

::The most lovely place to stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts Dominique and Manjula are very friendly and helpful with ideas what to do. And you can book short trips in Manjulas tuktuk. He took us to restaurants in the evenings and also to visit some close by tourist places. The little house with own bathroom is a gem, very nice furnished and super clean and inviting. It also has a little kitchenette area for making tea and coffee. The lovely veranda overlooks the beautiful garden with song birds and occasionally a few monkeys can be spotted in the trees. Can highly recommend this place, it is the perfect place for a couple that wants to be close to beach and Unawatuna but still far enough away for some peace and tranquility. When we go back to Sri Lanka we will book in here again. Thank you, we loved this place :)

Rice and Curry war Mega lecker. Strand ist nur 200 Meter weg. In zehn Minuten ist man mit dem Tuk Tuk in galle. War ein perfekter Abschluss unserer Sri Lanka Reise :)
