::Mahagedara retreat is an incredibly peaceful and tranquil experience. I travelled to Mahagedara with my husband and it really felt so relaxing! We have never slept so peacefully. The food is super scrumptious and organic. Mangoes, Pineapples, Watermelons grown right in the resort.If you lead a stressful life (like us), we recommend you spend a good week here and you will feel completely renewed! It is also a great location to explore Sigirya, Dambulla, Anuradhapura and Poḷonnaruwa. A fair warning though, call the resort to get directions. This resort is hidden away in a small village with greenery all around. Try and arrive before sunset or you might get lost.
