  Just amazing!! Nice Architecture, Clean and Calm surrounding. But remember except poya days and government holidays this temple is closed on Mondays for cleaning purposes. Drinking water is available. Toilet facility is ok but it can be improved. It's very crowded on poya days.

  Namo Buddhaya to everyone! My humble kind request is to all living beings to pay a courtesy visit to our Mahamewnawa Main Asapuwa in Polgahawela, Sri-Lanka. I am one of the fortunate person among the other religious people to visit and worship this marvelous temple during my last Summer Holidays. It is situated in a very quiet and a peaceful area, and everything is very well organized. The building architectural structure is a real dream, both internal and external. I was highly impressed by this temple. We send all our highest heartfelt gratitude to our most respected Rev. Kiribathgoda Gnananda Loku Swaminwahense. Theruwan Saranie.

  Honestly i didn't feel the peacefulness that you usually get in a temple in this place. All the gold color statues made those calm and peaceful feelings go away in an instant. But of course as a work of art this place is amazing!
