  Nice place to visit with your family an loving ones. Quite beautiful place. Plenty of spaces for car park. Good restaurants for visit at surroundings.

  Hangout place for family and friends. This is not the ideal place to take a swim in the ocean. For swimming, Polhena beach is a naturally shallow one with no rough waves coming at you making it the perfect location for a safe and enjoyable salt bath :D. Matara beach has quite the nightlife with numerous street food and a play area for kids. During holidays, finding a parking spot can be a troublesome task. If you wanna enjoy the sunset while in matara, this is the place to be.
