  It is situated in anuradapura district.if you come from anuradapura, travel towards dambull on a9 road.nearly about 50 km from anuradapura.at madatugama town take the exit to your right.go ahead about 4km you will find pubbogama junction.go straight about 3 to 4 km then you will see the place.

  This place is the first and ever humen sanctuary in world. Arround the forests and huge and rich of lots of endemic plants. Fresh air and cool environment. Specially there is a mountain what full of pink quartz. That is the one and only place in sri lanka.

  Recently discovered around 20 years ago though history claims that the forest has been in existence since King Devanmpiyatissa's era. Brilliant place to relax at the top of the Rose Quartz mountain though you have to go through the forest to get there. Gets crowded sometimes.

  Awesome place to enjoy the forest view. And we can climb a mountain that made since billion years ago by pink corals. At the full sun bright view the whole mountain blink in pink. We are simply enjoyed.
