  It’s a government bank and is the only bank in Sri Lanka to guarantee 100% of your funds, savings as well as fixed deposits. However, expect long queue at this branch and takes a very long time to complete any work, i.e. Deposits, withdrawals, account opening, etc. Most of their Staff are friendly but not enough staff available to assist for the amount of customers at the branch.

  Some times have to wait a loong to get service.
