  little bit higher of Average pitch & ground.not much facility for sanitary needs.

  I am very much proud to write this Review as I am current Assistant Tournament Secretary and former Ground Secretary of Nationalised Services Cricket Association. NSCA celebrates her silver jubilee this year. We are affiliated to Sri Lanka Cricket. NSCA is the governing body of Association formed by Semi Government organizations in view of help developing National Cricket. These organizations are State Banks(Bank of Ceylon, People's Bank, National Savings Bank, HDFC), Ports Authority, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Sri Lanka Insurance, National Water Supply & Drainage Board, State Pharmaceutical Corporation etc. I am actively involved in development of this Esplanade. Recently we have been able to transform this traditional ground into a Premier League Cricket standard by laying 5 Track Turf Wicket & Newly built Pavilion. Ideally this ground is for Cricket. However, we will let other parties to have their event here subject to availability. For any event you can book this ground, but Centre wicket will be fenced by ropes where no one allowed walking in. We are still develop this ground. In future we have planned to have a members only Club House, improvements to Car Park & Would have a Indoor Wickets & a Club Pavilion, relocation of side wickets and new scoreboard as well. Our Ground's Parapet wall is available for advertisers.
