  Nice amd Small and well maintained Railway Station. You cn get trains heading to Puththalam - Colombo. This is a main station on this Costal-railway route.

  The station and the staff are okay. Nothing to mention much good things about the station. Recently, I noticed that many commuters had to wait in the long line to get their tickets even the space is not enough to accommodate for the people. They open ticket counters just few minutes prior to the train arrival. Commuters must take a ticket to reach to platform. In this scenario, it is better to open the counters early during rush hours.
