  The ancient temple is located in Gonapinuwala. A large group of people in the village have joined the temple. There is a temple in which a lot of Buddhists exist. Piyarathana Thera is advised to advise the Viharaya with the guidance of the Ven. Saralankara Nayaka Thero. There are Dhamma Schools on Saturdays and Sundays. Saralankara Maha Vidyalaya and its Primary section contributes to religious festivities in the temple.
