::Octoberfest is my lovely restaurant in Koggala. This is very calm place located very close to the ocean and has amazing view in around. I was surprised that the guy who was servings tables is the main chef because he was 27 years old but with pretty solid experience in a hotel business. Btw his name is Nalek and he is very kind and reliable person. I visited many bars and restaurants in Koggala but couldn't find better one than Octoberfest in terms of tasty food, nice view and good prices. All dishes prepared by Nalek are the best ones in the nearest area. You can buy a food elsewhere, bring it to Nalek and he will do a magic ;) p.s. I've never heard the answer "no, we can't..." Also, you can rent a scooter to Nalek. Don't be afraid to leave him your passport. As I mentioned before - he is very reliable guy :)

::Best place for lunch and dinner at koggala. 5 minutes away from the Long Beach hotel. Staff speaks Russian and English really well. They have the best price and the taste for grilled seafood. They have a woodcraft shop of carved elephants and Stilt Fishermen. Their beach front is breathtaking. If you are looking to rent a bike or try some shiaha just go there. They also arrange whale watching at mirissa
