  This is very older and famous bridge in Batticaloa of Sri Lanka which was established in 1928 by British government. When British government controlled the Sri Lanka who have developed a lot of things in Sri Lanka. The new Kallady bridge is established near this bridge recently. Now people are using the new Kallady bridge. This old Kallady bridge is established by very strong metal therefore this is be very strongly still now. The singing fish is very famous in Batticaloa. We can listen the sound of singing fish at night in this place. People relax at evening time with wonderful view by sea, river and many trees. There some hotels and restaurants near this place. This place is very useful for photo shoot also.
